                                                      Reneldo Randall was raised in Williamsburg, VA and graduated from Lafayette High School.  Mr. Randall                                                         received his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resource                                                                     Management from Strayer University and his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of                                                                    Virginia's College at Wise with a major in computer information systems.  

 

                                                     Mr. Randall is currently employed by Old Dominion University as the Director of Advising for the College                                                   of Sciences and the Co-chair for the Pre-Health Advisory Committee. He is formally an adjunct business                                                     professor at Bryant and Stratton College.  He serves as the chair of the board of directors for the Hampton                                               Roads Black Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of The United Way’s award winning Project Inclusion                                          Board Governance Leadership program.

 

Mr. Randall’s formal training, informal background and experiences foreign and domestic have prepared him to be a leader, consultant and strategist.  He has experience presenting to and facilitating group discussions with high school students, college students, and organization of various types on topics such as:  transition, education, leadership and purpose.  Reneldo desires to be influential in equipping individuals to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Reneldo Randall

Purcell “P.J.” Piggott

(Co-Founder & Director of Strategic Partnerships)

                                                      Purcell “PJ” Piggott was raised in Williamsburg, VA and graduated from Lafayette High School, where                                                          he was an accomplished athlete in both football and basketball. 

 

                                                      Mr. Piggott completed his bachelor’s degree from Grambling State University in kinesiology with a                                                              concentration in sports management and a minor in coaching.  After completing college, Mr. Piggott                                                        began his career in the mental health sector while simultaneously beginning his professional coaching                                                       career.  PJ is currently employed as a Mental Health Technician at the Pavilion of Williamsburg and is a                                                     Certified Therapeutic Options Trainer. 

 

                                    He is also the owner and principal trainer of Piggott Sports LLC.  Piggott Sports LLC is a sports training business    where Mr. Piggott works with young athletes on their skills, techniques and understanding of their sport.  He also assists athletes with the transition from high school sports to college level athletics. 

 

As an accomplished athlete and coach, Mr. Piggott understands what it takes to become and remain a champion.

Cory Judge

(Co-Founder & Vice Chairman)

                                                        Cory Judge was raised in Williamsburg, VA and graduated from Lafayette High School, where he was a                                                          member of the men’s basketball team.  Mr. Judge went on to earn a diploma from Penn Foster in the                                                            Heating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) as well as a certificate in Blueprint Reading, Air-Conditioning                                                                and Heat Pump I & II from New Horizon Adult Regional Adult Education Center.  

 

                                                        Mr. Judge is currently the owner of K & J Mechanical, which operates in both Maryland and Virginia.                                                            Cory learned through experience the issues that surface when young people fall victim to negative                                                              influences and energy.  He wishes to assist young people in avoiding these types of experiences by                                                          supplying them with positive alternatives to combat these negative influences and energy.

                                                       Eric Stone is a lifetime resident of Williamsburg, VA. Mr. Stone enjoyed a 36 year career with the City of                                                                   Williamsburg Fire Department. During his tenure with the Fire Department, Mr. Stone rose through the ranks                                                         as a firefighter, sergeant, fire captain, and finally retired as a battalion chief.  Mr. Stone was the first African                                                             American battalion chief in the history of the Williamsburg Fire Department.  

 

                                                        Mr. Stone served as co-coordinator, then director, for the Tidewater Regional Fire Academy.  His last                                                                    assignment, before retirement in December 2016, was Technical Assistant to the Fire Chief for the City of                                                              Williamsburg.

                                                   

                                            Mr. Stone is very active in the community and has served on an array of committees for the Williamsburg- James City                                        County community and Williamsburg-James City Schools. 

 

He has volunteered on the football staff at Lafayette High School for the past 20 years and has also been involved in the theater department.  Mr. Stone serves as coordinator for the summer James City County Youth Football Camp,  serves on the Board of Directors for Riverside Doctors Hospital in Williamsburg,  and mentors students for “Men of Vision and Purpose” (MVP).

Mr. Stone lives in Williamsburg with his wife, Lisa, of 30 years.  They have one daughter, Shannon, who lives and works in Virginia Beach as a doctor of Physical Therapy.

Shedale Tindall, RN, MSN

(treasurer)

                                                         Ms. Tindall started her 20+ year nursing career in the private sector of Women’s Health in 1994 and                                                                 has since held several nursing positions, taking on various leadership roles throughout her career.                                                                  She started her career at the Department of Veteran’s Administration in 2000 as a staff nurse at the                                                                 Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System.  She completed the Management Development/Leadership                                                                      Program at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System in 2003.

 

                                                      Ms. Tindall served as the Nurse Manager for Medical/Surgical and Acting Program Leader at the                                                                Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System. At the Hampton VA Medical Center, she served as an Associate Chief                                                     Nurse for acute care and as the Associate Chief Nurse for long term Care.  She has worked in many areas,                                                  including medical/surgical, ICU, dialysis, ED, mental health and long term care.

In 2008, Ms. Tindall received advanced training as a SOARS consultant and conducted systems reviews across the VA system to assist facilities for survey readiness. In 2010, she was appointed as Associate Director for Patient Care Services at the Hampton VA Medical Center and served as a valuable member of the executive team until 2015. Most recently, she held the position of Chief Nursing Officer and a member of the executive leadership team at the Pavilion in Williamsburg for Diamond Healthcare and had oversight responsibility for nursing service.  She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from the Carlow College of Pittsburgh.

                                                        Jacqueline B. Williams is the founder and chair of The Village Initiative Inc. The Village is a grassroots,                                                                       advocacy organization that focuses on educational rights and justice, including addressing the minority                                                                     achievement gap and advocating for diversity and inclusion within WJCC schools. The Village comprises                                                                  concerned citizens from the Williamsburg community, including parents, educators, students, and                                                                             professionals.  Building a positive relationship with our local school system is at the center of The Village's                                                              mission and work.

 

                                                     The organization has partnered with WJCC schools to develop and implement a tutoring initiative through                                                         which over 30 tutors have been placed at James River Elementary and Berkley Middle School. Jackie studied                                                         business administration at Strayer University and is a member of the National Alumni Association.

 

Jackie obtained a degree in licensed practical nursing from Medical Careers Institute. In May of 2019, she was inducted into The National Association of Leadership and Success for Sigma Alpha Pi. Jackie’s personal experience as a proud parent of WJCC Schools and her passion for justice is what motivates her to continually work for change and equity in our schools.

                               Jane Wenner, originally from New York, is a long time resident of Gloucester, VA and serves as the                                           Volunteer & Outreach Coordinator for Gloucester County Emergency Management.  

 

                                 She is also the president of Connected Communities, an organization with the goal of connecting                                        people to resources that give them the tools to develop professionally and personally.

 

                             Jane is a skilled mediator & public speaker, a youth advocate, a lover of people and a resource                                             magnet!

Tamara Dillard

(Board Member)

                                                        Tamara Dillard is a veteran of the United States Army as a military police officer. During her military                                                                   career, she served as a patrol officer, worked with the D.A.R.E. program, and was a guard for both                                                                   nuclear weapons (California) and chemical munitions (Hawaii).

 

                                                         After completing her military service, Tamara began working as a 911 dispatcher in James City County                                                         for police, fire and rescue where she is a Master Telecommunicator, a trainer for new employees. She                                                           holds certifications as a general instructor, CPR, CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) and for obtaining criminal                                                     information, locally and nationally.

 

                                              Tamara has a passion for working with and helping others to see them achieve success!

                                                       Ronnie Davis, Jr. is the founder and CEO of Another Level Youth & Family Services, LLC. Between two                                                         locations in Newport News, VA and Williamsburg, VA, this organization employs over thirty Certified                                                            Counselors licensed to provide community-based services.  With over ten years of experience as a                                                              business owner and serving hundreds of families across Hampton Roads, Ronnie has a true passion                                                             for servant leadership.

                                                     Mr. Davis studied music at Virginia State University.  He was the first person at his high school (Sussex                                                       Central High) to receive the National Musical Excellence Award. Music became such an important part of                                                Ronnie’s life that the started a music consultant business centered on teaching youth about the rewarding                                             benefits of music. Ronnie discovered a way to link music and math to teach both simultaneously. His passion                                          and success with connecting and teaching youth made him a sought-after employee and he worked for numerous camps, focusing specifically on “at-risk” youth. He realized that it was his calling to devote the rest of his life to helping those in need.

                                                         Rian Ochasey Thompson hails from Toano, VA and is a graduate of Lafayette High School, where he                                                               set records as an accomplished football player.  Mr. Thompson attended Coffeyville Community                                                                     College in Kansas and Hampton University where he pursued a football career before completing his                                                              Associates of Arts Degree from Ellsworth Community College and received his Bachelor of Science in                                                           Public Administration from Upper Iowa University.  

 

                                                     Mr. Thompson began his professional military career while finishing up his education.  His military career                                                    consists of the following appointments: Primary overseer of weapons and weapons maintenance for                                                          10th Combat Support Hospital in Bagdad, Iraq, Radio Operator for the 10th Combat Support Hospital in                                                  Bagdad Iraq and training supervisor for the Nutrition Care Department at Brian Allgood Army Community                                              Hospital in Yongsan, Korea.  Mr. Thompson retired from the military and is currently self-employed as a Class A Barber at Klassic Touch Barbering in San Antonio, TX. 

 

He is a proud member of the San Antonio Alumni, Kappa Alpha Psi Incorporated organization and has been an avid volunteer, mentor and youth advocate throughout his collegiate and professional careers.
